What will happen during my LASIK/SILK consultation?
For your LASIK consultation, plan to be at Shroff eye centre for approximately 2-3 hours . We evaluate you thoroughly and do special tests to decide what is best for you and get optimum results.
If you wear contacts, you will be asked to not wear contact lenses for 7 days before the scheduled appointment.
Your eyes may be dilated in preparation of a detailed eye exam that will check refractive error, pupil size, corneal thickness and more.
There will be an in-depth discussion of laser eye surgery and whether or not you may be a good candidate for LASIK. If you are not a good candidate for LASIK, our surgeons will suggest alternatives such as PRK & ICL.
