 The
OPERATION THEATRE complex comprises of three operation suites for
surgery under local and general anesthesia. All the operation suites
are equipped with state-of-the art Leica Microscopes. Life Support
and monitoring equipment include cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters,
cardiac defibrillator, arterial blood-gas analyzer, and the serum
electrolyte analyzer.
To obviate the remotest possibility of infection in the operation
theatre, sterilization is done with the help of High-speed flash
autoclaves, Ethylene oxide sterilizer with aerator, Horizontal and
vertical steam sterilizer and Hot air oven. In fact, the entire
water supply to the operation theatre is done through this modern
central reverse osmosis plant, which is an indicator of the importance
the centre attaches to strict asepsis. :

Shroff
Eye Centre is registered with the Government of National Capital
Territory of Delhi as a 25-bedded nursing home. It provides air-conditioned
accommodation to patients in single rooms, double rooms and cubicles.
Shroff
Eye Centre has liaison with two pathology laboratories for carrying
out routine pathological, biochemical and microbiological investigations
for patients requiring surgical intervention. These laboratories regularly
send their personnel for collecting samples from and delivering the
report to the centre. However, in case of emergency, facilities for
testing blood glucose levels, using glucometer and for urine sugar
and albumin are available in the ward.
